ABOUT THE PROJECT

Welcome to The Energy Efficiency through the Development of Low-carbon RAC Technologies project. This project seeks to develop low-carbon refrigeration and air conditioning technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as part of a wider partnership programme between the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and the UNDP,  in support of the country’s international commitments to combat climate change.

Project Components

Enhance the national policy regulatory and
institutional frameworks for sustainable end use of RAC technologies.

Accelerates RAC market transformation towards less energy intensive and low GWP technologies
